Now that work has begun in Lenton Abbey we are seeking to form a Council of Elders.

A Council of Elders within the Organoponico system is a number of Senior people from the local area that wish to become involved on any level within the hub. We are of the opinion the local people that have perhaps lived in the area for many years have much to offer to a project such as this. We value the opinions and guidance from such men and women, many of whom have memories of times when it was the norm for people to grow "a bit of veg" in their gardens.

We are currently looking for a few people who are a minimum age of 65 that might like to join with us. If you fit the bill or know someone who does please get in touch.

As we progress we will be working through all the age groups in the community to enlist interest and involvement.
