We seek donations and sponsorship in the form of items needed from individuals and Companies as we have no funding of any kind. It is things rather than money that we need.
We are currently looking for...
An old used lean to conservatory or similar.
Any empty "ad blue" type 200lt plastic drums.
Once set up Hubs can generate small amounts of capital for their continuation.
A good Urban Hub can make very little go a long way. In parallel with nature an Urban Hub starts from seed, germinates and blooms from virtually nothing.
Vast sums of money are not needed or in fact desired, creative use of materials
that are recycled or re-used can form the heart of an aesthetically pleasing and highly productive Urban Hub.
All members of Organoponico and Grow for it give their time and efforts freely and without reward and do not personally profit from any donations of items.
Sponsors may be mentioned on our websites or can remain anonymous if prefered.
All donated items go directly towards new and existing Urban Hub growing projects and all tools and equipment from donations remain solely for the use and furtherance of our projects within the community. Tools and equipment are available to other and new projects that grow from within our organisation and new projects may apply to be included under our mantle. Again a little will go along way.
We are currently seeking sponsorship of tools and equipment for the pilot project on Brook Road in Lenton Abbey in Nottingham. We are hoping to gather our own funds for a large greenhouse, storage cabin, potting shed and the purchase of a second hand compact tractor. The non fixed equipment will be available for other new Growforit and Organoponico projects to use. If you have a site that you wish to see used even on a temporary basis please use the contact section of this website to get in touch.
All donated items will be published on the website and will be part of the inventory of the local hub. Hubs flourish on the one thing money cannot buy... commitment.
