Saturday the 27th of February 2010
marked the start of the first organoponico "Urban Hub" in the United Kingdom. We have no funding from anywhere and are spurred on by the passionate desire to make it work.

Organopónicos first arose as a community response to lack of food security after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The chemical fertilizers were no longer available and the Country was forced to adopt an organic approach.
Puddle Pictures made this short documentary of organoponico's in Cuba. It shows what amazing results can come from very little and how true community spirit grows.
